This is not opinion - it is scriptural fact. This is the faith and doctrine of The Church of Jesus Christ [WHQ: Mononghela, Pennsylvania] based solely upon the King James Bible and The Book of Mormon only. You CAN know these things too if you seriously study and pray about these 2 books and this Church also. That is why you are confused - you need to sincerely pray and study about these 3 things. God will indeed give you an answer if you are completely sincere acting with no deception. Is that what you are confused about?

I enjoy conferences such as listed to hear concepts and ideas to consider and ponder about. I am uncomfortable that in a market place for ideas, and that includes this forum, that some injections of personal opinion, no matter how fervently held are foisted upon the discussion as absolutes with little supportive information.

I many times disagree with other's opinions but accept the owners right to share and ability to present them for consideration as opinion.

It appears to me that Michigander is uncomfortable with opinions and concepts presented. I would suggest a more charitable presentation of his opinions to permit others to consider the comment and avoid the emotion.

you state alot of things in your comment as 'fact'. How do you know all of these things? Unless you talk to the almighty himself there is no way to know all of the things you stated. That is why I am confused. You can state your opinion, but shouldn't state them as absolutes, as they are nowhere near that.

    @New Yorker:

God the Eternal Father in heaven (whose name alone is JEHOVAH per Psalm 83:18) does not have an eternal Goddess wife (Mother-in-Heaven heresy), nor does He have a father-in-law, or a mother-in law, etc. That is blasphemous nonsense. God did not need a wife in order to begat His Only Begotten Son Jesus Christ. That is why He is God and will always be God and no one else will ever be a God or Goddess in heaven in eternity.

    Hi Michigander,

"All human beings—male and female—are created in the image of God. Each is a beloved spirit son or daughter of heavenly parents"

"When I leave this frail existence,
When I lay this mortal by,
Father, Mother, may I meet you
In your royal courts on high?
Then, at length, when I've completed
All you sent me forth to do,
    With your mutual approbation
Let me come and dwell with you."
    Text: Eliza R. Snow

In any case, we believe the Church and Gospel are restored, not a 19th century invention. Thus it is not surprising to discover that some form of these teachings has survived the ravages of time, however distorted the piece of it we have discovered may be.

"temple theology and the Divine feminine"

" ... all those who preach false doctrines, and all those who commit whoredoms, and pervert the right way of the Lord, wo, wo, wo be unto them, saith the Lord God Almighty, for they shall be thrust down to hell! (2 Nephi 28:15).
