    Lets blame the producer because people fail to cook the chicken. The food safety lies in education.

    Wow. Salmonella can also cause death and permanent brain damage. Blame the victims? Come on -- just choose another brand. Salmonella contamination can be prevented.

    So what? there are millions of cases of salmonella in the US every year, it isn't even news worthy. Salmonella hits, you get diarrhea for a day, feel poorly for a day or two and you get over it. I fail to see the fuss the USDA occasionally makes over salmonella, except to scare the public and to justify their existence. Salmonella sounds bad, but is an insignificant illness, everybody gets over it except the elderly who die from just about anything anyway. Let's move on to the real news.
