I'm thrilled with the selection of performers for the upcoming concert. This annual event is the best entertainment in this state. We look forward to the Christmas concert each year. Thank goodness we're blessed to be able to go. My uncle has served as a general authority for several years and has always been able to procure enough tickets for all the family. We're grateful not only for his service but for being able to bless us to go to this concert. This is our family's favorite tradition...and it's only two months away. We'll also be being the DVD from last year's concert as soon as it comes out next Tuesday.

I look forward to this concert each year as it really brings in the true spirit of Christmas. We were fortunate to win tickets for last year's performance with Alfie Boe and Tom Brokaw. "Bring Him Home" was absolutely fantastic and the "Candy Bomber" story was a neat segment of the performance. Hopefully we will be able to go again this year!

This year's special guests are an exciting choice!

But I'm *still* waiting for them to bring in OLIVIA NEWTON-JOHN as the guest soloist one of these years (the sooner the better!)

Her album, "Christmas Wish" (2007), is THEE best Christmas album ever--- bar none! (this is NOT a commercial endorsement 8~)

And Olivia Newton-John is absolutely the "perfect fit" with the MoTC for their Christmas Concert.

Brothers Ron and Mack--- PLEASE get ONJ in here next year... at any cost!

For cynics... I don't work for the Church. Don't know anyone who does. I have gotten tickets through the lottery and know plenty of people who have. Please stop the cheap shots!

    @ Big1 ----

Come on now! You know that's a huge lie!! You just destroyed any credibility you have on this comment board with such a preposterous accusation.

Over the years, I've been to a NUMBER of these events (where they use the random ticket drawing process) and I've legitimately gotten EVERY single one of my tickets through that official registration/draw-out process.

Just remember.... you are ONE person registering along with about half-a-million others for the "chance to win" 2 or 4 tickets out of about 80,000 available seats!! Consider your odds.

The only way to get a ticket is to work for the church, or know someone

A word to the wise. For those who think they can fool the registration process by multiple registrations from one computer: Don't. The system will find the duplicates and CANCEL all of them including the first. Best bet, register once for yourself and be done.

Gimli and MoTab! What a fantastic combination! I've got goosebumps. (Oh please oh please let him dress up as a dwarf . . .)

We're definitely not missing this performance!
