    What do they mean the pandas are currently out of work? Aren't they all employed in the capital?

    Mr Askar:

    You should do an article explaining the other side of the coin and tell readers how many hundred of millions of taxpayer dollars per day are being saved from government overspending by this shutdown. That in turn reduces our out-of-control federal deficit accordingly. Not a bad side effect.

    It will also show the general public that a lot of current government spending can actually be done without, and thus reduce our federal deficit accordingly.

    Well on the positive note, at least in L.A. the local IRS office is closed and the IRS employees are in furlough mode. I'm sure the Brits are enjoying the irony. The American Revolution started because American Merchants didn't want to pay their taxes.
