Hoping the Bruins perform similar to the last couple of trips to RES.

    GO UTES!

Lots of similarities between the Quarterbacks but, that's where it ends. In the supporting casts there is no contest. UCLA is poised to explode. They could put up more #'s against the Utes than OSU did. I hope it's a close game but UCLA could put 60 on the scoreboard. THe Ute defense could be on their heels all night.

I think the only chance the Utes have is to tell the Bruins that the game has been changed to Friday night and then take the win by forfeit.

Sorry to burst your crimson bubble, but the truth is, Utah's offense was only average against good defenses.

As far as beating the top teams of every conference goes, U might want to start by beating a single team from your own conference with a winning record.

wilson also only played half of the weber game. But I suppose nothing short of Utah beating the top teams of every conference by a shutout for 5 years in a row will be impressive to you right?

"Weber state padded Wilson's stats did they? Much like New Mexico State padded Hundley's..."

    Not even close,

despite the usual crimson-colored delusions on the hill.

UCLA beat three FBS teams -- Nevada 58-20, Nebraska 41-21, and NMSU 59-13 -- clearly demonstrating that their stats were not "padded" by one weak team.

Utah beat two FBS teams and lost to one -- USU 30-26, BYU 20-13, and OSU 48-51 (in OT) -- and beat one FCS team, Weber St 70-7. Utah scored 42% of its points against ONE team, clearly demonstrating that Utah's stats were significantly padded against the 2nd worst defense in the FCS.

Ironically enough there is a rain / snow storm and 40 degree temps on tap for the east bench Thursday night.

I have news for you UCLA has played Nebraska, Nevada and New Mexico St. Those teams currently rank 107, 113 and 123 in total defense. If anybody's stats are inflated it Hundley's.
Utah has played OSU, Utah State, BYU and Weber. Those teams rank 71, 22, 23 and Weber is not ranked as they are not D1. Although the Utes have played 4 games the stats in the article are averages.
Hundley's stats have been inflated by awful defensive teams, this is not the case with Wilson.
I think it is obvious your statement is without any basis in fact.

gonna be a good game. Utah defense will be the key for Utah to win this one.
The offense will gain yards and put points on the board.

can the Utah D stop the bruins on third down? lets play to see!

    Go utes!

    Chris B,
Thanks for the compliment by saying you think a top 10 team is only 11 points better then BYU! Your defense gave up 51 points to OSU and you think they will hold a much better team in UCLA to only 24? Is there a blizzard coming to the East bench I have not heard about from the weather guys? I think Utah is going to get smashed in the mouth early and often!!! Speed kills and by the closeness of the BYU/Utah score the Utes don't have the speed or athletes to hang with the upper crust of the PAC12!!! I am a huge BYU fan and supporter and I think UCLA would beat us by 21 points in Provo and more in LA!!! Good luck Thurs. night you and the team will need lots!!!

    Go Cougs!!!

Remember that in the OSU game Wilson didn't get started until late in the 2nd quarter either. The O did nothing in that game until well into the second quarter. I think they are comparable. It's the rest of the team that helps Hundley out. I think the Utes keep this one close. Not sure if they can win it. I hope so! Go UTES!!

Sorry my last comment has the wrong name. Hill for sure is a lot worse than Wilson or Hundley, but Wilson is not as good as Hundley. Weber game inflated the stats for Wilson.

The UCLA quarterback is better than Hill since UCLA has played against tougher teams like Nebraska. And you have to remember that the Weber game should not count in the stats. This inflates his numbers even though he played only for half the game.

They share similarities? I don't think so. I like Travis Wilson, I think he is good at Utah. But Hundley is far and away the better QB. He is a far better runner, he is a great passer. I won't take that away from Wilson, he is a good passer also. But Hundley is much better at the QB position.

I hope you are using pencil. When you say "Mark it down".

I am thinking more UCLA 45 Utah 17, but then again, that is why they play the games. You roast your crow, I will roast mine. Who ever loses eats their bird, and give props to the other.

"Utah QB Travis Wilson, UCLA QB Brett Hundley share similarities"

Yeah, they both have two eyes and two ears, and that's where the similarities end.

Both Travis and Hundley, both sophomores, will likely lead their teams to at least one Pac 12 title each before their time is done.

But this year belongs to Travis.

    Utah 27
    UCLA 24

And Utah will be in the Pac 12 South drivers seat.

    I'll be there Thursday.

    Will U?

Utah WILL win against UCLA and win the Pac 12 south and play Oregon(for the second time) for a rose bowl place.

    Utah 27
    UCLA 24
