    @Old Ball Coach

"I hope Wilson throws for 273 and two scores against USC or UCLA....those would equal two losses in those games...."

Your team can't beat the Utes so you hope everyone else can? What a sad life you must live. As an independent your season is over so you hope the Utes fail to help you deal with your jealousy? How sad.

Great job Travis! I'm excited to watch you continue to grow as a QB and a leader.

    Go Utes!

TW is a stallion! Excited to see him play every game this season.

I'm also looking forward to watching him play on Sundays! Go TW! Go Utes!

That's nice....but I was not impressed with Utah or BYU on Saturday.....the season begins in two weeks, I hope Wilson throws for 273 and two scores against USC or UCLA....those would equal two losses in those games....

Congratulations Travis. I have been pleasantly surprised at the progress you have shown this year. In the BYU game, you also proved you are tough as nails.

As a devote Utah fan, I want to thank you for the example you set for the university and the team both on and off the field.

    The future is bright.

    Go Utes! Onward and Upward!

As a BYU fan I want to congratulate you. You deserved the award and showed a great deal of class in victory. I am glad we don't have to face you for the next two years. With Dennis Erickson as Offensive Coordinator you will only get better.

I am a die hard BYU fan, but Wilson showed some class and parise to BYU D and has gained my respect. So good for you Wilson, now that we dont have to play you good luck for the rest of the season and the next two years. Who knows maybe we will see you in a bowl games in the coming years.

I've said it before and I'll say it again:

The winner of the Utah/UCLA game WILL win the Pac 12 South.

And I like our chances at home!

    Go Utes

    Onward and Upward

Fantastic accomplishment for this young man.

Now comes the real test starting with UCLA on Oct. 3rd. Hope Travis can keep up the great play!

Wow wow!! Ever since watching Travis on TV in the Elite 11 camp I had high hopes, and he's bringing it! His hard work in the offseason adding strength and size are paying off, and I was impressed in the OSU game how he came back from the 3 interceptions and score 5 touchdowns, it really showed his determination.

Excited about the Utes again this year, been some tough years lately. Seems like they're really hungry to prove themselves this year. Still bummed we lost the OSU game, and Stanford and Oregon will be tall orders, but its looking more to me now like we can do much better than originally predicted this year. Go UTES!!

There were a lot of deserving candidates in college football for a player of the week award. Still, this shows respect to Utah and Travis Wilson. I am happy for him. I will admit being surprised with how much Wilson has improved as a sophomore.

Dennis Erickson plays a big part in this award as well. I also think Brian Johnson has been able to work well with Travis now that the young coach doesn't have so much on his plate. Bronco and Kyle deciding to make a young Doman and Johnson offensive coordinators and QB coaches at the same time was over shooting. I think Doman would be a benefit to work with Hill but that obviously wouldn't have worked with Anae and Doman on the same offensive staff.

Travis had a solid performance against us last week. He deserves this.

Hey, Travis, if we don't make you cut your hair, would you come down to Provo and play for us?

Congrats Travis! Frankly I thought it was overdue but then again there are a lot of awfully talented players in the PAC-12 and college football in general. Good work, keep representing the U and the state with class, dignity, and your mad skills.
