    Reporter: Coach Whittingham, would you like two coats of wax on your car?

    Whittingham: What do you think? Last time you missed a couple of spots - get it right.

    Reporter: Coach, I think you are the greatest coach ever, can I get an autograph?

    Whittingham: Just get my car done.

    @Samurai Jake

    You know Jake, we are from a different generation, no doubt about it because I can remember when I was your age how beating Utah was an annual affair. And, I am sure that someone a lot older than me, remembers when Utah beat BYU all the time. The only people who care is Utah fans. By next year, it will be a mute point except for UTE fans. Why don't you go focus on how Utah is going to win the PAC-12 because beating BYU annually will not do anything about it. But then again, I remember, I was young once!

    "Lets be objective. Utah is a little better than BYU. The last couple wins have been down to the wire. A few plays better."

    The gap between the two schools seems to be widening as Utah continues to get better recruits as evidenced by the total players from each school in the NFL.

    The last couple of wins have been down to the wire because Utah took their foot off the gas and focused on the clock. Last year Utah lead 24-7 with about 11 minutes left and began running on every play to use the clock. This year they lead 20-6 in the 4th quarter and did the same thing. Prevent defense and run, run, run helped boost BYU's stats and narrowed the score.

    "Pac 12 south has been weak for 5 years. North has been the power division of the conference. Big blessing for Utah to be in the Pac-south."

    FYI, PAC-12 South is in it's 3rd year of existence and has the flagship programs from the league (USC and UCLA) as members. The North and South are well balanced.

    ThomasJefferson, is the ZUMWALT kid better than KVN? UCLA favorite team this week?

    @Christopher B,

    I don't think I heard enough from you. Could you rant and rave a little more. Please, humor me about how good you will do in the PAC-12 and how you will compete for the Rose Bowl and how you will dominate the PAC-12 for years to come. Just like you preach about BYU losing to you guys, please preach to me about all those victories and championships you have earned in the PAC-12. Until it happens.........just saying!

    Having read the transcripts from the Bronco Mendenhall and Kyle Whittingham press conferences it is easy to see which coach has a better handle on his team, and what they need to do to improve. According to Bronco, his team needs to execute better. Kyle on the other hand had specific ways his team needed to improve. It seems to me that Bronco is in over his head. He clearly doesn't have any answers when it comes to the questions regarding his football team.

    You said that byu would beat Utah.

    That didn't quite happen now did it?

    Kyle has a lot of class. Ute fans could take notes. Lets be objective. Utah is a little better than BYU. The last couple wins have been down to the wire. A few plays better. Utah can't afford to play a tough nonconference schedule now that they are in the Pac 12. BYU has to understand that. Utah needs some Weber States and Fresnos. Being in a conference has its advantages in that they have built in schedules (easy work for AD, just find a single decent nonconference game and a couple patsies). Being independent is tough. Especially the second half of the season to find quality opponents who aren't in conference play. If you look at total athletics, BYU is a superior school to Utah. More fan base, better total athletic department from top to bottom. Utah has taken hold of the superior football program. Good for them. Utah doesn't add much of anything to the PAC 12 except for a solid football program. Pac 12 south has been weak for 5 years. North has been the power division of the conference. Big blessing for Utah to be in the Pac-south.

    It should be clear to byu fans why we've scheduled Fresno instead of byu the next few years.

    You are no longer a good opponent and its not seen as a good win every time we beat you.

    Fresno is a better program

    To all who attempt to mock Utah, just remember:

    However "bad" we are, you're worse!

    You can't beat us

    Beat UCLA and we WILL win the Pac 12 South.

    I have said since the beginning of the season:

    1. Utah would beat wac byu - check
    2. Utah would beat wac usu - check
    3. Utah would go 8-4 or 9-3(looking good)
    4. The winner of the Utah/UCLA game would win the Pac 12 South and play for the Rose Bowl

    I LOVE the state of the Ute program and where we're headed under Whittingham
