Why Bronco? To give you an automatic loss every year? Just makes BYU look bad because you can't beat a team that many others seem to have little problem in beating. You've lost 4 straight years to a below average pac12 team and thats a game you want to keep playing? I don't know if Utah just plays above themselves every year or you can't get your players to take it serious enough to play with any heart. Just makes us look like a crappy team. I definitely look at our team and think they're average, how can you have such a good defense yet lose as much as you do? You made a defense in Utah's that just gave up 50+ points the week before look like they were the best in the country. For a BYU fan why would I want this game to continue, so each year we can lose to a mediocre team and listen to their fans brag about how great they are, yes this makes me want to continue this NOT! This year you also had 2 weeks to prepare and from the looks of it you weren't prepared!

I am not so sure that comment by Bronco is heart felt. There was a scene shown as Bronco entered the stadium on ESPN and he looked up at the crowd and had the scowl on his face like " I hate this". That is how I took it. To me Bronco is a great coach and so it Whit. I think Whit is a better game coach especially against BYU.
I am not sure if Whit will be the coach at Utah next time they meet. So far he has not proven he can win in the PAC 12. They lost to OSU, that was one of their wins for this year. I ask, who can they win against. Will they defeat UCLA, Stanford, probably not. I am not sure if they can get five wins this year. Erickson is already in place for the interim. This year does not look good for Utah. How many years with out a bowl appearance before the end of the Whit era?

Bronco needs to be given some serious pressure for hiring Robert Anae. Losing 4 straight to utah should be grounds for firing someone. It's time BYU makes this rivalry a bigger deal, like Urban Myer did when he came to utah. Since then, utah makes it a point to beat us. Here in Texas, those type of mistakes have consequences (ask manny diaz). It goes a little deeper though. Bronco, loved riley nelson. I think Taysom Hill loved riley nelson. riley nelson was the worst thing to happen to BYU football. We can't seem to play the quarterbacks we recruit out of high school. Stop this craziness now and switch quarterbacks before we lose the next two years. Do you think ESPN will re up our contract when we produce a product like last year and this year? Something has to change now offensively. Where is the administration when it comes to holding this coaching staff to a higer bar? Come on Tom, let's hear some fight. Come on, local media there in utah, start asking some hard questions. Winning is the only way independence will work, otherwise you better find a conference now.

utah needs byu? really? utah fans are really full of themselves. pac 10.2 tough? not so much. glad no more utah chest pounding for a couple of years, hopefully longer. whit still trying to be the big brother, won't work. i really wonder what pac 10.2 non conference winning percentage would be without their OWN refs.

Clearly the rivalry is owned by Utah at the moment. But it was owned by BYU is the 70' and 80's and BYU never would have considered not playing them had they moved conferences. However, I don't think it has anything to do with owning anyone, it's about variety. And that's even dumber. Chris Hill blew this. He claims he wants to play Michigan? No room for BYU. Yet, he'll continue to play Weber St and DII programs once a year. Trust me, Michigan will be less fun to host than the Y. When the UTES are 5-7 next year and the season is over with no BYU game to amp for, reality will set in that Chris Hill ruined a 100 plus year incredible rivalry in this state.

Utah doesn't need BYU... BYU needs Utah. The game has become less relevant for Utah. BYU can now add another cupcake to their highly touted independent schedule.

Uninterrupted Bronco? Maybe if you would acknowledge Utah that they were the better team you might get more desire to play the game. I mean Utah wins AGAIN and the excuses are in full once more.

Kudos to Anae who clearly gave Utah the credit. Bronco says BYU were one play away. NO way Bronco. That is four in a row and 9 out of 12.

It's okay BYU, you can shoot for the better overall record against Idaho, Middle Tennessee State, Houston, GT, and a down Boise State who has lost twice already.

Utah has a brutal schedule. Oregon, Stanford, UCLA, Arizona State, and USC are still left. Remember Oregon beat Virginia 59-10.

    Can BYU beat Utah State?

Why? Is he hoping to extend it to 6 straight losses?
