"Although neither of those programs has proven in the last couple decades they can be a top 5 program."

    1996 Final Rankings
    AP Poll: BYU #5
    Coaches Poll: BYU #5

You'd better refine your data set a little.

It's OK everyone. Chris B. is just trying to post smack on as many BYU articles as he can, because he knows that after Saturday his trolling days are over. He said that if (when) BYU wins, he will never post again.

    Mark it down.

    Both Christopher and Chris B's,

I don't know if you're the same person or not but reality set into me a long time ago...I love my Cougs but you're right, a top 5 ranking will be extremely difficult but not impossible. But here's some reality for you too that you need to accept. I commend the U for being in this conference but reality is they ain't gonna be smelling roses for a LONG time let alone whiffing the national championship. Just like how you all accuse us Y fans of being delusional so are many Ute fans. There's Ute fans that I'm working with right now that think they have a shot at the Rose Bowl this year...now that's reality too my friend.

"But I know I know BYU doesn't belong to an elite"

Some of you guys are starting to accept reality. And that is good. byu will continue to be a fun regional program that competes with USU for the second best program in the state.

Although neither of those programs has proven in the last couple decades they can be a top 5 program.

    Chris B.?

You never disappoint. I don't know why you get on BYU articles in the first place. I've actually wondered if you work for DN and that's why you're usually the first to insult BYU, either that or you check for BYU articles every 5 minutes.

But in response I already know Hill needs work on his passing game, it's his run game that's in question here. It actually really bothers me that he can't pass so you trying to get under my skin by insulting his pass game is pointless...in fact every Y fan knows it too. But I know I know BYU doesn't belong to an elite program blah blah blah.

Do we know the lowest completion percentage in a season for a byu QB?

I would say he as just as good of a chance at breaking that new low record wouldn't you, at 33%?

    "We are all Cougars!"

Yes sir. Even those of us wannabes who never played a single down feel the same way about our players. I hate it when some of our fanbase loses sight of that sentiment and ridicules, mocks, and boos the performance of college kids when they are trying their best, but come up short. I wish we would all encourage as much as we congratulate, because after all, "We are all Cougars!"

    Fine example Bro. Fortie!

He can watch the game on tv. Senior missionaries are allowed to have visitors, phone there friends and family and do many things yong missionaries can't. different rules.

Yes, it is a thrill coming to realize the man we had been serving with in the temple in San Diego is "that" President Fortie. I had no idea until today that they were one and the same. We love that humble man!

I must be that old because I saw Mr. Forte come off the bench to beat Wyoming in '62. I thought he was a gutsy player and lament that there is no film of that second touchdown at the end of the game to replay.

I think there should be more stories of the older players of all BYU teams to see what they have accomplished in their "after sports" lives.

I don't want to relive the past, but it would be nice to see how they have fared and if sports taught them anything.

We in San Diego loved having Eldon Fortie serve in the San Diego Temple Presidency up until a couple of years ago. I knew nothing about his storied BYU football career. I only knew him as a humble and spiritual member of our Temple Presidency.

I'm more interested in Hill improving his passing ability. We all know he can run but he needs to improve his passing ability to be a complete dual threat q/b against the Utes. With Spencer Hadley out, my optimism is a bit deflated although I hope the back ups will step up. Here's hoping our seniors avoid going 0-4. We must not give Chris B and his friends more reason to endlessly mock and bashed on us.

Go Cougars! Good luck Utes after this weekend!
