It was nice to see the back-ups get some playing time without much drop off in talent or efficiency. That experience will benefit the team throughout the season as guys get banged up.

I hope the Utes can take this momentum into the game with Oregon State. I expect that to be a pretty good game, OSU has some really good playmakers on their team and I'm sure will be a good test for the Utes.

It was a good weekend of football for all three of the Utah schools. Great way for USU to open up conference play by blowing out Air Force. I was shocked by the byu game for sure. Even though Texas looked bad, you know they have a lot of good athletes on that team so that was a big win.

    Go Utes! Keep it rolling!

Come on, Chris B, if you're giving love to USU and SUU be big enough to include BYU. They also did a "great job" and "even" have one D-1 win. Occasional objectivity would look good on you!

So happy, especially for Lucky. No one has been a better recruiting ambassador for our program. Now with only the one game break - we have 9 consecutive conference games! Start with Oregon State and don't let up until it is clear which bowl we will be playing.

I fully agree with the bye week giving too much time to rest is not always a good thing. And with extra time to prepare for the Utes, doesn't always translate into a win. I told all my BYU fan in-laws, neighbors and co-workers that BYU would beat Texas. Texas is way over-rated this year, and BYU is a much better team than last week at Virginia.

BYU, having a big win over a ranked Texas, with a bye week, I think will make them come out a bit flat and over-confident playing the Utes. Let's hope the Utes can pull off a win.

Although Weber is no powerhouse team, it was still nice to see the Utes have a good win. Next up, Oregon State. Go Utes!!

Not much negative to find in this one. Utah continues to surpass my expectations.

I am a little worried about BYU now though. They looked unstoppable tonight.

If they play that well versus Utah, we are going to have to play a near flawless game to win.

The good news is, Utah is doing well right now and showing lots of promise. Let's keep the ball rolling!

The bye week may hurt BYU going into the Utah game. Too much rest is NOT always the best thing.

After two weeks, Utah has 1 division 1 win, USU has 1 division 1 win, and even SUU has a division 1 win!

Great job to these 3 schools
