Republicans in Utah cannot investigate and correct themselves.

It is waste of tax dollars since Swallow and Shurtliff were conned. They had all of the resources of the Attorney General's Office to avoid a scam, but it happened. Just like with the public, these con artists used the prestige of beach side property, a Ferrari, and a private airplane to con. The criminals conned the public and along with it they successfully conned Shurtliff and Swallow. It is that simple. The question is whether Swallow is able to successfully run the office. If those in the department cannot see a con going on until after it has happened it is no wonder the public is at risk. Unfortunately, the enforcers in the Department are out eating free lunches with the licensed individuals in the state, looking for a misplaced word like "guarantee" during seminars so they can collect fines, while the unlicensed crooks took advantage of the top enforcement. Cut the losses and call it what it is, a successful scam against the two Attorney Generals for the state. Shouldn't have happened since they had the resources to avoid it but the resources were incompetent. Can we afford poor judgement in the office?

This has been a blistering attack on John Swallow orchestrated by his opponents. It is clear Democrats want him out but the RINO republicans may also be trying to change the outcome of the election. Having seen the nitty gritty of politics one certainty is Democrats will always try to promote the fa├žade of some good government committee says such and such but it is just a trap. We saw how an unethical liberal political hack taped Mitt Romneys 47% speech, they have no boundaries. The diversion of money and effort hasn't been worth it to this point.

I think John Swallow will be found innocent of any wrong doing. This whole thing was a setup in the first place to divert attention away from the guilty parties.

What a waste if tax money. Swallow would do us all a favor if he resigned.

I ignored the mud slinging during the primary. I knew both side's political consultants well enough to assume that they were behind it. I should have listened as I was blindsided Jan. 12th this year.

John's biggest critics since becoming AG on several issues are from Republicans. I was looking online for his conflict disclosure forms on Jan. 12th of this year. Not only his March 15th one, (I didn't find out about the March 9th until later) but also the one he had just signed Jan. 10th. I was more concerned with them and the lack of information re: P Solutions than the comments I heard on the tape from Johnson.

When two witnesses (one to get the money and one to pay it) and a tape accused Shurtleff of a $2M deal that involved Jenson, my focus moved to that. Jenson claimed Swallow knew about the $2M deal (Swallow says no). The $1M asset Swallow was to get looks bad.

Investigate. If he knew about the $2M, based on what Swallow hasn't done this year, (Shurtleff in Jail) Impeach. Malfeasance in Office.

Let it go and give it up, John. There is no way this is going to end up good for you or anyone else. Don't let pride keep you from doing the right thing. The sooner you resign, the sooner this can be put behind you and the sooner your office can get back to doing the business they are supposed to be doing. Letting this continue to play itself out is a big waste of taxpayer money.
