Was that supposed to be funny? It's not even at the level of my sisters 7 year old girl.

Oh Stang. You make me laugh, even when USU loses to Utah.

This loss stung. (Not stang. hahaha) We had some penalties, some cramps, and credit Utah: Wilson took advantage of our new secondary. Utah did what they had to do in order to win, and we did not.

While a win in this game would have been a HUGE vault into the spotlight in state and a good splash in national media, the truth is we are still playing for a MWC Championship. That test starts in 4 days.

I love my team, and I love being an Aggie.

And I'll go on record and say that, excluding Marcus Mariota for Oregon, Chuckie Keeton is the best QB in the west. I was that impressed by watching him in person last night.

I lost? Look at my username. I'm a Ute fan. Don't believe me? I'm a season ticket holder for 7 straight years. I sit in section W13 row 55 seat 23 if you want to come get educated about football. And what I'm saying is have some grace and respect for your opponent and don't act like we killed Utah State because we didn't. And by saying Utah State is going to have a long season proves you didn't pay attention to the game at all to see how Utah State had us on the ropes the whole time and how good of a QB Chuckie Keeton is. We got lucky he started to get cramps the last several minutes of the 4th quarter because the FG we held them to probably would have been a TD if he hadn't sat out those couple of plays on 2nd and 3rd and goal. USU also out gained us in total yards 487 to 450. So if they were able to do that to our defense then they will not have many problems this season against other opponents.

You don't know me and don't know what you are talking about. As for the rest of you. What matter is now at this moment in this season. And in this season USU lost to Utah. Just like they have done every year except last. You lost so deal with it.

And ignore Stang, he's obviously a bandwagon fan who doesn't know jack about football

U fan here and I have all the respect in the world for USU after that game. It was amazing being at that game and watching the things Keeton could do. I hope you guys have a great rest of the season, I wouldn't be surprised to see you guys go 11-2 again. I think my Utes can make a bowl game because they made a lot of mistakes last night and have a lot of potential to improve. Now as for all the BYU fans on here I would worry about your own team if I was you. You won't be able to get most of your wins this year against bottom level WAC teams like you have the past 2 years. I am very much looking forward to watching you get smacked around in Logan like you were the last time you were up there.

Two stupid penalties - if either one hadn't occurred the Ute drive dies and USU most likely wins. Or one play for a 59 yard pass/gain - again had that specific assignment not been missed the Ute drive dies and USU likely wins. And finally of course the on-sides kick. USU simply has to learn how to survive those!

While I think the Utes played one a heck of a game (they did manage to win it after all) the fact remains if USU had played just a tiny bit better on *ANY ONE* of those plays USU would have likely won the game by 9 points at least.

USU had the game in the bag in the third quarter and managed to throw it away. :-(

Hopefully the USU team learns a lesson from this. Likely we will, just like last year the team will realize that they've got to completely focused whenever they are on the field. Given our schedule I'm pretty sure we end up in our third bowl in a row, but the season will not be quite as spectacular as many of us were hoping for until last night.

What's the matter, Stango? You mad that I'm not really all that mad, bro? The Utes earned it. I have no problem admitting that.

One game does not a season make.

    @ Stang08

If you had the objectivity to match your obvious arrogance, you'd realize that the Aggies would and could beat the Utes at least 3 of every 5 times they played... if rematches in the same year were allowed.

Even Kyle, the Ute coach admitted that the Utes were very fortunate to win last night and that in many aspects of the game, the Utes were outplayed. So get off your high-horse and give some credit where credit is due. There is very little doubt that the Aggies will finish the season with a better record than the Utes will have.

I can name two plays that cost USU the game: the 15 yd penalties for playing after the helmet was lost and the unsportsman-like conduct for hitting the guy when he was out of bounds. Both occurred on the same drive, and both were the result of lack of self-discipline--especially the helmet fiasco. They kept a drive alive which resulted in a touchdown. The Utes had been feckless to that point and were about to punt from deep in their own territory! College players should know better and be more disciplined!

"It's gonna be a long season for you aggies."

Actually you're right.....the Aggies will be playing "long" into December.

Whatever, Stango. With or without you, we wouldn't forget it anyway. It was a tough, competitive and close game. I bet you didn't expect that.

We got 11 games left, and Keeton proved he can play with the best of them. I love our chances of making a 3rd consecutive bowl game.

Come talk to us in a couple of months when USU has double digit wins and UofU has double digit loses.

No blame should go to USU, it was a few plays on Utah to blame. Wilson, Williams, Anderson, and Murf on Offense. The defense stepped up when need in the 3 and 4 qtr. These are the player that got the win for Utah.

USU's secondary is a known concern, and the Aggies call a blitz on 3rd & 9 with the Utes deep in their own territory? What was the defensive coordinator thinking?

Aggies were far to conservative in the 3rd quarter. In the end, that killed them.

I will not let you overconfident Aggies forget this. I was right and suprise suprise you were wrong. UofU is better than USU once again. It's gonna be a long season for you aggies.

USU simply out played the Utes. If I was a Ute fan right now, I would be very nervous about only getting one more win on the schedule and that is against Weber. It is going to be a long season for Utah.

Great game! The Secondary needs a lot of work, they gave up way to many big plays. USU's run defense was great. USU's Offense seemed to be able to move the ball pretty good against Utah's defense. The big killer was penalties. Can't give up 90 yards of penalties to a Utah team and expect to win.
