Schulz would be starting for any other prestigious school in the prestigious PAC. With him backing up prestigious Wilson, Utah will be undefeated for the remainder of prestigious Wilson's prestigious tenure. Long live the prestigious UTES, their prestigious alumni, their prestigious facilities and their prestigious fans. This year the UTES will be the most prestigious team in their prestigious conference and after this year, the UTE's prestige will be even more prestigious.

Come on VegasUte, are you honestly going to tell us that "When Whittingham recruits he tells guys we have a great rival in Colorado" isn't way more hilarious than any of the trolling? Say it, with a straight face. I dare you. Chrissy has the best "LOL" comments of anyone. She's hard to top.

I just love how the trollers come on these Utah stories to try to convince everyone that Utah is beneath them, yet their very posts contradict what they are trying to sell. The irony is sheer entertainment!

Thank you Christine, Maxine and Offal for keeping me from dying of boredom!

    Go Utes! Onward and Upward!!

Chrissy, tell us all about competing for WAC championships. The Utes didn't do much better in the WAC than they're doing in the PAC, just making more money for the prestigious doormat status.

Go Utes! Onward and Upward! (Because there's no other direction to go but up)

No. Utah is YOUR rival. So when Bronco is recruiting he has to explain that his kids wont beat THEIR rivals.

When Whittingham recruits he tells guys we have a great rival in Colorado, a team capable of providing a challenger.

    Colorado is our rival.

At least a bad Colorado team gives us a challenge.

Worse teams than them(byu among others) provides no such challenger.

You attempted to catch me in my words, sorry didn't work out.

Nowhere did I say byu is our rival. I only said we are YOUR rival.

Chrissy, you mean that BYU is still your rival? What happened to that powerful match up against the other door mat Colorado? You told us all that they were the new rival. What has happened?

Good for Adam. It's refreshing to see a former walk on prove that, in spite of Chrissy's much ballyhooed "Stars are the only thing that matters" mentality that guys like Adam Schultz, Ziggy Ansah, and a good share of the Boise State football team can actually prove on the field where it counts that they can be as good or better than the highly recruited guys, regardless of what the predictors rightly or wrongly say a player is worth out of high school. Again, good for Adam.

The irony is that a zero star-walk on QB will be an injury (to Wilson) away from taking the reigns of a PAC-12 Powerhouse (strike that - a PAC-12 basement dweller). And we all know Ute QBs NEVER get injured.

Go Utes! Onward and Upward! (Because there's no other direction to go but up)

Oh, and thanks for the laugh Chris. There isn't a realistic Ute fan around that thinks the Utes will be in the Rose Bowl this year (realistic being the key word). Most realists are just hoping for an actual bowl of any kind instead of a repeat from last year's bowl season.

Oh Max - how does a one year aberration turn into "never"?

This is the proper use of the word "never" - byU has never gone to a BCS bowl, let alone win one!

Thanks for trying, though. We do appreciate you posting on all things Ute to prove you loyalty and dedication to our program!

    Go Utes! Onward and Upward!

how's this for a recruiting tool:

You may go your entire career without being your rival. But hey, who cares about an 0-4 record in your career against your rival(whose in a prestigious conference which adds more jealousy) when you can compete for WAC championships?

How is this for a recruiting tool.

come play for the Utes where you will never have to play a game after thanksgiving. You can really enjoy your holidays here at the U.

    mark that down

@Mountainflying - Yeah, because more ambiguity at the QB position is EXACTLY what we need... 8^\

I think Wilson will be fairly good this season. I do, however, think that Schulz is a more accurate thrower... Maybe they should explore a dual QB situation this year...

    8-4 season

The south winner will have 3 conference losses, and anyone had a shot except Colorado.

It's a very balanced division and should make each game very exciting.

We will be in the hunt for the rose bowl down to the last two games, if not very end.

We knew it would take a few years.

And this is the year we arrive!
