I am interested to know what insights this writer has on the Juab program. From what I saw last year, Juab certainly had no problem throwing down field or putting up points. If anything, they excelled in those stats. In fact, Max Preps just published an article ranking the Rowley kid as one of the top 10 QB's to watch in the state for 2013. This article makes it sound like the new kid is a better QB? While a coach has to do what is best for his program, it does not necessarily mean the reason is that the new QB is better. It seems a pretty brave decision to hand over the reigns to someone unproven in varsity play compared to a Senior on a top 10 in the state watch list. I doubt the reason it is best for the team is that the new kid is a better QB as this article seems to suggest. I would guess it is for some other reason. I hope for the sake of this program, and the kids involved, that this coaching decision does more good for the team than harm.
