While this is a heartwarming story, according to DWR documents, beavers pose a problem throughout various regions of forest land.

Wouldn't it have been cheaper to euthanize the injured beaver, then replace it with a beaver transplanted from an are where beavers are a problem?

The vet and the helpers who worked tirelessly day and night to aid the beavers' recovery deserve huge THANKS. They are a credit to our society. I wish the beavers well in their new home, may they thrive and enjoy their new surroundings.
