    That is the truth for highly specialized low education talent based professions. There are millions of people who grew up drawing and have a passion for it, but sadly do not have "that" which the reviewers are looking for. The arts are finicky like that. Much better to be talented in math or physics, you'll succeed relatively well anywhere with an inborn passion for those "arts"

    Some people do not realize how competitive the "art" world is. I was one of the top artist in my high school, but when I got to college I was surrounded by talent. This eventually led to me switching majors. I hope the students in this article stick with it and do not give up.
