If you want to put it together and call it a show do one in vegas. Lots of stage space; plenty of mormons and you can offer two free drinks with a ticket; no one will ever take 'em up on one during intermission. Put it out there, and see if truth will prevail, or will it be Shania Twain and Celine Dion? Love those Canadian girls.

The Mormon Handcart Pageant in Nephi, Utah--also currently inactive--featured recorded Tabernacle Choir music. Also, the nativity pageant held on the lawn north of the Provo Tabernacle (Soon to be the Provo City Center Temple) had some recorded music. And don't forget the performances of "Promised Valley," done East of the Salt Lake City Temple, as well as throughout the stakes of the church, in the 1960's. There have been many smaller pageants done in the past by stakes, regions, and groups of families, some featuring music, others not.

Please don't forget the Oakland pageant which included a balcony choir. True it is not currently active, but many local Saints hope some day it will be brought back.
