How to better educate the public than make them pay for the education. Utah does not beleive in lax justice and every dollar they collect helps local towns and cities fight its recession. Tickets will be plentiful in Utah, its too good an opportunity to pass up.

The portion of i-80 west of SLC has speed limits beyond the safe driving conditions of the road and driver fatigue. The I80 road across Utah is death trap where 60 mph is excessive speed. The freeway is way beyond the infrastructure safe phase and never has been improved for the hazardous conditions on the Utah sections.

Anyway, drivers should avoid travel in Utah, traps are revenue and out of towners are double the revenue no city or mayor in is right mind will allow free pass without a ticket.

Driving in out-state Utah one sees UHP cars enforcing the speed limit. Once you enter the metro area, going the speed limit creates a traffic hazard.
