    Using the same stats one could also state that Medicaid caused high school dropouts.

    Ahem. Here's an inconvenient truth for you. The article talks about the Hispanic graduation rate being 20 points lower than that of whites. Perhaps the researchers could delve into the immigration issue here. Perhaps they could project the impact of lowering legal immigration to 250,000 a year and enforcing immigration laws that would send illegal aliens home.
    Methinks there is a whitewash going on here for political expediency.
