    Governors create jobs as state employees. Real Estate Developers develop real estate. Employers create jobs. When he gave $13M to a company that didn't get a contract, that probably created some jobs in Colorado, not Utah.

    This is a governor patting his own back or maybe his own pockets.

    He develops jobs while the Attorney General develops ways to get out of the ethics mess.

    What a silly article. By the same logic, whoever sits as a governor, or as a president, is personally responsible for job gains or losses in the economy. It is nonsense.

    That would be nice . . . if a governor could actually create jobs. Government, including Gov. Herbert, cannot create jobs, it can only shift them around.
