I'll vote for any politician who passes a resolution banning fireworks after 11 p.m. Not sure why anyone needs to embrace their inner patriot at 3 or 4 in the morning. Please be considerate - some of us have to work the next morning.

The coolest and best 4 of July fire works I'd seen ever, I was in California. The city allowed the people to shoot off the big rockets, rockets was exploding in the sky all over for hours. it was awesome.

Fire department allowance of cake or aerial fireworks is lunacy. One bottle rocket, much smaller and less powerful than these aerials, can start a serious fire.

The best thing to do is leave them alone this year.

Whoever put this story together missed Farmington City. You missed them in last year's article too. Don't reporters do their homework any more?
