What was said about waiting up there for health care in Canada is not true. Also, 99.95 of the population here get their medical care in Canada; I can assure you we're not treking over to the USA for a dr. visit, other way around Partner. Some rich people rush the border as they don't want to suffer a reasonable wait the rest of us manage okay.

Genetic testing can prevent heartache by letting potential parents know in advance that their offspring are at risk for certain diseases. We should all make youths aware that such medical intervention exists so that it becomes common knowledge.

My heart is touched with this story. I have many children and some have some handicaps but I now have a new perspective as to how blessed I am. What a cute and eternal family the Binghams have.

It is beyond belief that someone would try to politicize this family's situation but you started it.

Yes all this might be free in Australia, but the wait is much, much longer. An Australian woman I knew went back to get her "free" lung transplant. She died before there was a set of lungs or sufficient number of qualified doctors to perform the surgery. Canadians come to the US to get this type surgery to avoid the wait and the fear that the surgeon might not be as qualified as a specialist in the US.

Maybe if our elected officials stopped spending our overtaxed dollars on usless pork there
would be funding for such things. When was the last time you wrote your senator or congressman? Do you keep voting for the same people because they keep making the same empty promises to fill your personal needs like a free cell phone like those ever-so-informed voters that keep re-electing Jesse Jackson III? Get informed before you fall into these liberal traps.

Their faith and love could move mountains. My heart ached to watch the father in his dispair, but also thought it was so cute when he grew his beard. Wonderful family, wonderful happenings in hard times, and wonderful people and donors who made it happen. Makes my heart feel joyful for their little bit of peace they are finally going through.

A very powerful set of videos! What tremendous faith is shown by this remarkable family and the town they live in. Maybe the childen grow to adulthood and never lose their trust in God.

I heard about this family on the radio yesterday. My thoughts and prayers go out to them. What a beautiful family. Precious Lord, I pray for health and healing of these young children.

Any liberal who thinks a health care cost is free demonstrates their understanding of economics is on par with that of a 2 year old.

In Australia their children's hospital treatments would be free -what a pity a great country such as the US can't look after its children without such crippling costs.
