Words cannot express sorrow at the death of someone who was murdered and answers are waiting to be found.

My most sincere condolences to the Gannon family. It's good to know that he did love his family, as well as his country.

Three yrs ago, a close teenage friend & new marine was found on base in his barracks in Afghanistan just 1 week after he arrived. The marines, his parents, & the local paper would never admit publicly that he set his service arm on burst & shot 3 holes in his brain. NCIS told us the truth. We need to be aware of the Fatal effects of bi-polar disorder, a mental illness that he fought & hid. Sadly, his comrads were relieved. He was volatile & a liability to the team. His parents still pretend he's a war hero. The truth? He suffered from an illness treatable with lithium & therapy. Mental illness neednt be a killer.
