What To Do, either when Title IX revises their requirements to exclude football from the scholarship "equality" requirements, or when Utah adds a couple more women's teams, a men's track team would not be far off. I'd say the latter is the more likely scenario, but it requires a lot of financial planning, arranging for coaching staffs for the new sports and additional coaches for the track team and equipment and facilities for the new teams. That will take some donors stepping up with good money and very specific ideas of what they want done with it. The move to the PAC-12 brought the school a lot closer to getting there, but it is still a few years off, if ever.

Congrats Amanda! It is great to see a story on the Utah Track. Now when is the U going to step up and put together a full men's and women's track program? I was hoping that joining the PAC 12 would force Utah to bring back men's track.

Congratulations, Amanda, you make Utah proud. Now go get that 800 m record and the PAC-12!
