I enjoyed the match, but I'm not sure BYU is ready for post season play. I hope we see them step it up, back to mid season form. Good luck Cougars. Every point counts. Get back to killer kills.

I was hoping BYU would get to play Hawaii in the first round because Hawaii always makes a great effort against the Cougars in every sport. The Warriors think that the Cougars are their big rival.

The close match will help prepare BYU for a tough team from UCLA in the semi-final round. With the home crowd and the preparation of reaching deep to beat Hawaii, I expect the Cougars to come out really fighting and playing well against the Bruins.

This match was the very definition of "eking out a win," right down to a fortuitous call at 14-13 in the fifth set. The good news is that the Cougs advance and keep playing at home, but the bad news is that they now play the UCLA team that crushed them in LA a few weeks ago. I hope BYU shows up ready to play!

Great match last night. I'd much rather watch a close match than a blowout anyway, and the Cougars dug deep to beat Hawaii. Hawaii did not play like a team with a losing record, that is for sure. Looking forward to next weeks semi finals against UCLA....

I think you'll find upcoming teams go at the Cougars very hard on their serves. BYU showed a kink in their armor in defending aggressive serves. BYU make a lot of errors in sets 2 and 3, but finished out the last 2 sets playing pretty well.
