    It might also be good if the next guy asks for a reasonable salary as an example to the teachers and other staff of that district that have got paltry (if any) raises over the past several years...

    The next superintendent needs to have the qualities of respect, leadership and humility. If the district wanted such a guy they should interview one of their own, Principal Shad Demille.

    I think this is a great move for Canyons. I am sure he is a great guy, but he has taken a very heavy handed and narrow minded approach to directing the school district. Hopefully, the new superintendent will eliminate the gestapo-like monitoring of the teachers and re-implement some of the technical programs in the district.
