Kobe is a great competitor in basketball, but he won't be able to return from this injury, never, and be the top player that he was, if he suffered a full thickness achilles tear. It's just sad to see any player go out this way.

Even though Kobe is the ultimate Jazz nemesis, I for one have to give him the utmost credit. The way Curry was shooting, except for Kobe the Warriors would have walked off the floor with a win, and the Jazz would already be ahead of the Lakers via the tiebreaker. Kobe willed the Laker comeback, and made it happen. He has carried this team on his back all year, a team which without him would be battling for the basement. Kobe is amazing; hats off to him. He is still Enemy #1, but hats off to him.
