Nice story on Gary Briggs. The team has a solid organization. However, the players are not the same as Stockton and Malone for a number of reasons. These two gentlemen set up a family atmosphere that catered to same. The current Mr. Miller is not doing the same. The current crop of players has ten, read 10, free agents. The price for AJ next year starts at 20 mill. MSap has just not been as effective in his final contract year. Next season, Favors will be on year 4 of 5 and already appears to be "packin' his bags" as a future force in the NBA. Memo, Klinko, and now Koufos are examples of players who didn't know the difference between tinseltown and the big apple. Jack Nicholson and the bois are going to make the playoffs and the Jazz are going to be left clutching a large number of "what ifs". Actually, evaluations should start with Kanter who has a great influence from his father. It also wouldn't hurt to bring Malone back into the picture and allow him to "pick up his mail" at the Energy Source.
