    To "common twit" you are wrong. Apple didn't invent the GUI, they go the idea from Xerox at the same time that a young Bill Gates was also being given a tour of the Xerox facilities.

    @common twit

    The reason people bash Apple isn't because of the products, it's because of the fans. Apple's "iSheep" like their toys, which is fine, but they are so in-your-face about it. This was especially noticeable during the iPhone 5 launch, but when it finally came out, all its "cutting edge" technology (including Siri) was stuff that my Android had two years before.

    Apple is fine if you want a B-level gadget, but the only reason people bash them is because of the obnoxious nature of so many of Apple's fanboys.

    I hear people bash Apple products all the time. Some of the time they are right. However, without Apple we would be still be using the dos operating system and using 10 pound laptops.
    I say God bless competition. It makes everything better.

    My Surface makes an iPad look like a glorified leapfrog toy. You can't do anything on an iPad but games and Internet (as long as there's no flash). My kids are enjoying the iPad and I'm getting work done with my Surface.

    Yee haw!

    A MS store so I can buy overpriced software, or better yet Windows 8, which is a tablet OS, they want me to install on a desktop. Or how about Windows phone where there is hardly a decent app to buy and MS is having to pay developers to make them? Sound enticing? Maybe grab a Surface with Window RT? Oh never mind the OS uses up all the available memory space.

    I have no idea why anyone would go to a MS store these days.
