I loved the story and application. Thank you, Scott for reminding us of the messages of General Conference and how we can benefit from them.

You know, forgiving oneself is one of the most difficult and challenging things to do.
A very dear friend of mine gave me a very special handmade item that she had made herself. I was so thrilled and all these years I've enjoyed it. Lately she admitted to me she had not made it due to time restraint and had a friend do it. I expressed my disappointment but told her I forgave her...yet she is the one that is struggling with Foregiveness of herself. We set such stiff restrictions on ourself(some way overboard) and find it difficult to even talk to the person we disappointed but yet who forgave us. Elder Holland is such an incredibly spiritual and tender-hearted Apostle and I know my friend, if she will humble herself and realize she is not perfect and can be forgiven, as I have forgiven her will allow Heavenly Father to heal her heart.
