    @LDS Liberal:

We have oil, it's in Alaska and a few other places, but the liberals don't want us to use our own oil. So we make fools of ourselves buying oil and SHIPPING it here. Makes a lot of sense (laugh). They laugh at us as they CHARGE us for what we could get for next to nothing, and I have to agree, it is ridiculously funny.

I can see why you think the Iraq war was revenge, they aren't the ones who 'caused' 911. But surely they harbored those who did. Not only that, but Suddam Hussein never accounted for the weapons he was REQUIRED TO PROVE he had destroyed. They had existed, so where did they go?

    " ...... Let's take the smell test --- .... "

LDS Liberal - yours was indeed a small test.

" .. too stupid, too blind, and too much in denial to see the obvious ... " Perfect description of liberal ideology.

You think Obama inherited problems when he came in?? Those problems will pale in comparison to what the next guy will be in for. But no doubt, it will still be Bush's fault.

The REAL reason the left hates Mitt Romney has nothing to do with his money or his religion but everything to do with his values which are the real threat to liberals; self reliance versus government dependency, individual freedoms instead of Obamacare, limited government and fiscal responsibility instead of out of control government spending and ever growing massive debt, family values instead of destruction of the family and many other reasons the left espouses that are destroying our culture, our economy and our freedoms! America is in decline because the majority of Americans can now vote themselves more free stuff which we have no hope of ever paying for.

Where were you hiding during the build up to the war. The main reason we went to war with Iraq was because Saddam was mean to their citizens...right. That's not why congress voted for it. In addition we essentially lied to the UN Security Council about weapons of mass destructive and nuclear weapons delivery systems. Never before in our history had our government declared such complete falsehoods in front of the United Nations Security Council. We as a nation need to be ashamed.

"In the end we'll win," Romney said. "We'll win for the same reason we've won before — because our cause is just and it is right. I want to thank you again for your support and your help along the journey."

Who is the "we" here? Because if it is a matter of us against them (republicans against democrats), then no one will ever win!

Rand Paul needs to learn to be positive even when the old stinkies in the GOP go negative. He could learn a thing or two from Mitt.

    LDS Liberal,
Saddam murdered an estimated 600,000 non-military men, women and children. I say he deserved it. Bush 41 attacked Iraq only after they invaded Kuwait. Congress was upset that he didn't finish Saddam off. Saddam spent the next 10 years violating the cease fire agreement, but the UN did nothing. Saddam also swore after the gulf war that when the sanctions were lifted he would resume manufacturing WMD's. He deserved everything he got.

Saudi Arabia is the world's largest exporter of petroleum. So, if we invaded Iraq for the oil, why not invade the country with the most petro exports? However, most of the middle east oil goes to Europe, Russia, China, and India. If you do a little research you will find that a small percentage of our oil imports actually come from the middle east. And, it is from Saudi Arabia, not Iraq. Nearly half of the US oil needs are met right here in the USA. The majority of the other half comes from Canada, Mexico, Venezuela, and Nigeria. With Latin America being the biggest contributor and Canada being second. With your logic, we would have invaded Latin America or Canada as well.

Let's see. At 13% taxes per year, including, uh, well we don't know really WHAT it includes, Mitt should be down to his last $10 million or so, well, ah, never. I think the sons will make out OK, too. As for the poor, they're on the wrong side of 47%, so, who cares?

"What nation but ours would've enjoyed hegemonic military power for 25 years and never used it to seek revenge against its foes or to seize resources from the weak?"

    Oh - really?

Let's take the smell test ---

Q: What does Saddam Huessin have in common with Bush 1, and Bush 2 ?
    A: Revenge

Q: What does Iraq have, that America needs?
    A: Oil

As long as the GOP is too stupid, too blind, and too much in denial to see the obvious - they will continue to loose.

If I can't be rich, I dont want Mitt to be either. He shouldnt get to keep what he's worked for and earned. Half of everything he has earned should be taken from him each year, so that others dont have to work for themselves.

If you don't agree, you hate poor people.
