BYU played USD at the Orleans. Utah is playing USC at the MGM Grand. Need anything else be said? I didn't think so.

    Go Utes!

For a bunch of Ute fans who have bragged about their team all team, these comments are suprisingly reserved. I expected to see Chris B marking it down for a 20 point victory. The Trojans are in a free fall as evidenced by getting blown out by WSU. These suspensions will have an impact on the mental edge of the Trojans even more than the physical play. On the flip side, Utah is playing their best ball of the year. Come on . . . this should be an easy double digit win for the Utes.

However, don't expect the same optimism from me on Thursday against Cal.

    Good luck!

Go Utes! Beat USC! A win in Vegas qualifies Dotson a medical redshirt.

Has anyone seen the all-conference teams? If so, anyone else feel like the coaches missed at least a few? Josh Scott (10 ppg, 5 rpg) freshman team over Loveridge (12 ppg, 7 rpg)? EJ Singler (11.5 ppg, 4.9 rpg) over players like Washburn (11.8 ppg, 6.8 ppg, honorable mention) and WSU's Brock Motum (18 ppg, 6.5 rpg, second team)? Also, I know Andre Roberson led the nation in rebounding, but 3 rpg were offensive rebounds, and his defense really wasn't that impressive, so I don't understand his being named defensive player of the year over Jordan Bachinsky (113 blocks), Carrick Felix or Cedric Martin (terrific shut down man to man defenders) I understand the differences in the teams' respective overall successes, but these are individual awards and, correct me if I'm wrong, should reflect individual performance.

"Utah’s Pac-12 Tournament opener against USC may not be such a tall task anymore."

Not so fast, Dirk. Omar Oraby is 7'2" and Renaldo Woolridge at 6'9" is a good contributor on the team. Dedmon was SC's biggest physical presence in the game against us, but there are still plenty of weapons on that team, and it will take a good effort by the team to win.

Can't wait to go see a bunch of highly talented teams play in the PAC 12 tournament! This will be a great experience for our freshmen. Doesn't hurt that its going to be 85 and sunny in Vegas this weekend either.

    GO UTES!!!
