The Fork - A "cover" is simply another version of a song already made popular by the original artist. It's your personal musical adaptation. Some covers can be done similar to the original or done with many variations.

Ernest T. - The Lumineers are not a "religious band" and have no religious ties from a quick search in google. They are a trio from Denver who play mostly folk rock.

Great "cover" Alex. I love this African theme running through your music. I think you have another song worth purchasing. Keep it going! And congratulations on your fun excursion gig on the ship to the Caribbean. Perhaps a little "Jamaican" song might be inspired from the trip?

What religions do the Lumineers belong to?

Try looking at the context of the word in the article to understand its meaning. If that doesn't work, there is always Google.

What is a cover? Or is this article just for those who speak "music"?
