"BYU has a lot of good strong hitters, but their service
errors are ridiculous."
True, but ironically, CS Irvine had the
exact same strength/weakness.
The key to winning the national title
is winning the MPSF and BYU is off to a good start to do that being the only
undefeated team in the MPSF at this point.
Service errors are
problematic, but you need to guard against taking something off the serve just
to get it in, because that basically gives the other team a free ball which will
still result in a point for the other team more often than not.

Yeah, you would think that with BYUTV doing the broadcast, they would schedule
the BBall game in the afternoon so they could also broadcast the volleyball
game. What is up with that?
BYU has a lot of good strong hitters, but
their service errors are ridiculous. If they continue to give away points like
that they won't contend for the championship.

Great match to watch last night, lots of fun. The crowd looked like it was
really into it.

Great crowd in the SFH last night for the nationally-televised match between #3
BYU and defending national champion #1 CS Irvine. BYU fans were texting in from
all over the country including one fan who texted that he was watching the match
from his hotel in Rochester, NY.
Congrats to the Cougars on a great
match. Looking forward to BYU competing for another national championship this
season.
It's too bad BYU's basketball game with San Diego
is scheduled for the exact same time as BYU's volleyball game with #13 UC
San Diego. Tough decision for BYU fans on which game/match to attend tonight.

Sad that in WCC gyms they get fewer fans for basketball than BYU gets for
volleyball. Great win last night for BYU. Quite the team and an exciting sport.

Tom, Good idea. No one else is using the Huntsman.

Maybe we could get permission to have the Cougar volleyball games at the
Huntsman Center, since the 5,000 seats in the Smith Field house is not enough
anymore.
