I'm curious why so many in the Salt Lake Valley are frozen when the temps haven't been nearly as cold as up here in PC? I know there are some homes affected here, mainly older homes that weren't built to a current code, but are people just smarter in the colder areas? I guess when you deal with it every winter, you just get smart about prevention. Never leaving your hoses hooked up outside, running your water at night when it's really cold, most of it is just common sense. But that might be the problem, because as my grandfather used to say, "common sense, isn't so common anymore" Too funny.
