Undocumented immigrants? If those are "undocumented immigrants," then the crack dealers on street corners are "undocumented pharmacists." Take the political correctness down the hall, please.

"Deferred action is not legal status."

'Deferred Action' is illegal... There are federal immigration laws on the books that are being ignored/violated by Obama and his administration. These people are all committing felonious acts.

"It means federal immigration authorities defer removal actions as an act of prosecutorial discretion for a two-year period."

'Deferred action' is not prosecutorial discretion. It's a plain violation of our immigration laws passed by the US Congress, since applications can be renewed without limit. Employees of the Citizenship and Immigration Services should all lose their jobs for violating federal law. Certainly, if they robbed a bank they'd be terminated. And the president should be impeached for his part in it.

The hilarity of the entire situation is that immigrants who violated laws can't be a part of the deferred action program that is administered by... law breakers!

    "Free tuition"

In-state tuition is considered free tuition now?

"Living in the shadows," I am sure is very inconvenient. Most criminals have this same problem of having to look over their shoulder. It appears that ID theft is not considered to be a crime for illegal aliens, but you citizens just try it and see what happens if you get caught.

It is not easy to live in the shadows. Some of my friends that are able to go to college go to the most prestigious colleges around. When they voted, they voted for obama. Some of them know my story as some of my friends share the same story too. I started going to college and started working in the fields. I would leave work early and immediately go to class. There are some people that receive financial aid and they spend it on beer, can you believe it ?

Remember the Federal Socialized Government is suing the various states that have immigration laws because the Federal Government doesn't enforce the laws under this administration that are on the books.

The Fast and Furious administration won't enforce the laws that the Border Patrol are mandated to enforce. This is why the action the President took with his Executive Order, subverting the administrative and lawful process of coming up with a law, was against public policy.

He did it for his personal and private gain and desire to be in the White House for another 4 years. He didn't do it for anything of gain for our Founding Father's country, he did it for the Obama Father of our country. He is establishing his own order and laws through his executive orders. He is getting rid of the military process and will use the Homeland Security and Border Patrol under Executive Order and a lack of a budget to make his new rules.

We are going through the process of what will happen with a Morsi type of President changing a Constitution to fit his needs and desires. Egypt was an appropriate place for the President to apologize.

"The older these kids get, fewer seem to apply."

Why of course. The longer they are here illegally the more likely they are develop criminal records -- or, they have sufficiently mastered the art of living illegally under the radar and working the system to where they see no point in giving up their personal information now.

    Especially in Sanctuary State Utah.

I believe any fault is with our Government and it's leaders over many years or even decades.

Having lived in many countries, whether Europe, Asia, Central and South America, and visiting other areas, and most states in our country, we have so much for people to desire to want to be in this country.

I will agree there are laws and there is an order in our country that people must obey in order to get here legally. However, for 50-60 years, our movies, news, travel agencies and other forms of media, even Mormon missionaries have influenced how people view the United States of America.

We have freedoms and chances to become more than what most people in other countries can become and be. We have principles in our Constitution that have been adhered to for over 200 years through a civil war, even. We have some that would destroy those principles but our nation is a light to the world, even in a long recession with a potential for more troubles in the future.

If leaders bend rules and make exceptions to the various procedures, laws and traditional thought processes through the courts, we still have freedoms wanted.

Most of the illegal trespassers are holding out for a better deal. Free tuition, and/or amnesty.

Most of the ones I hear about (from my kids at the high school)don't have anywhere near the kinds of grades to get into college either. Maybe next Obama will require public universities to waive ANY entrance requirements whatsoever for them so college becomes a possibility.

The President didn't that from his office and not with coordination with agencies and people interested in the system. He did it for his campaigning process. If he really felt interested in the people, the students, the children, he would have done that earlier in his administration and not as a last straw to get 3 million more votes.

When you do something as he did, you leave out the administrative processes that take time and produce more of a coordinated effort from all people involved and the agencies and departments that will need to make rules and procedures to accomplish what had been done.

That is the reason why you don't have people with sole power doing actions that impact on the whole society without working with the legislative and court process to ensure that everything will work in a program.

When the President did this as he did with the Obamacare, for the Congress to pass a bill before they read it, we end up with a law that is still trying to be figured out 2 1/2 years later. The economy suffered since because businesses don't understand it to make decisions for hiring but can fire.

Being illegal in Utah doesn't have any consequences. K-12 education is available. Employment is available. The food pantry and charities help provide some of what is needed. Why risk paying money so the government can easily identify you. Life is still better here than where they came from so why risk being identified.

There are two lawsuits against Obama's executive order. The border patrol claim it's forcing them to violate Federal law, as they are still here illegally. It's a huge conflict between the laws on the books, and Obama's order.

Fair chance it's overturned, then the government has both them and their parents information.

Why is the Federal government handing out passes saying that it's ok to break federal law? Where did the President get the authority to allow this? Something's not right here.
