    Agreed. I was there and his comment was meant to say that the crime was so brutal that it took 32 hours to clean up the crime scene and that the killer who did this is still our there and will likely kill again. He was trying to emphasize that this person is very sick and needs mental health care.

    your missunderstanding where Greg is coming from, the point is that it was so brutal that it took along time to clean up. Not the amount of money that was paid out.

    Pragmatic, I think you're posting on the wrong opinion board. You'd be much more suited on the Trib's board where criticism, Monday morning quarterbacking, and overall bitterness are the norm. What's tacky is your criticism of the Millers. An entire article/interview about their pain & suffering and you pick out that innocuous comment. Who knows what Greg was asked by the reporter that produced that comment about being billed... and who cares.

    sad...but how tacky for Miller to discuss how much he was billed for cleaning up the mess after the crime scene. Really? Shouldn't that be furthest from your mind after something this horrific to your wife's mother?
