Do teams typically prepare for games the same way every week irregardless of the game day forecast?

Bronco goes to bed at 8pm? Wow. I guess they might as well make a little cot for him on the sidelines there, because I think he can take a few winks by 9 pm if all goes well.

Good luck to the Cougars and kudos to all of the BYU fans who are brave enough to face a snow-covered LES on a Saturday night in November!

I have to admit, this is one game I'll be very happy to be watching from the comfort of my living room.

    So. Cal Reader

This was a bizarre story for quotes, wasn't it? I think combinations of two weeks off, playing Idaho and the season that could have been, all make for some interesting quote material.

Brandon Doman. "I think it will be kind of nice to get a cold breeze through the stadium and our fans will have to sit through some cold temperatures. It will be good for everybody." It'll be "better" for everyone if the offense dominates as it should.

Coach Bronco: "It doesn't matter," he said. "We're going to play. I'm usually in bed at 8, so if I'm going to be up, we might as well play a game." So glad Coach is getting his rest!

Just a funny thought I had. The Utes are racking up quality losses faster than BYU is racking up quality wins. Good thing you ARE in the PAC whatever, because in order to win the WAC championship, you actually have to beat the WAC teams you play.

To all true Ute fans, I apologize for my cheekiness. I actually do respect your coach, your team and I have a growing appreciation for a number of you. Unfortunately not for the ones who live in Chris B's basement.

I'll bet the atmosphere will be electric even with the snowy conditions.

A WAC championship is within reach again!

Just a funny thought I had:

How many truly good wins does Bronco have in his entire 100 game career at byU?

    Maybe 5?

I'll bet if you look at any recent national champ, data will show it takes 8-10 quality wins to even be in the National Champ game.

So even after Bronco's declaration that his goal was to win national championships, he likely doesn't have enough quality wins in 8 years COMBINED! Let alone a single year.
