Well if that is true about Ty Rutledge I will be eating my words. I know one man is not the whole team but he is the main piece of how the game is managed. Prince had nothing to do with Hurricane losing, DH stepped up and won that game I was there. Looks like both teams will be playing short handed today good luck to both I will be at this game since it is down here. I support all region 9 teams when the playoffs hit.

Heard today that Ty Rutledge, DH's QB got hurt and won't play tonight! Wow, that changes things tremendously!!!

whyplay- well, it's not "my team" just still have family and friends over there who I've watched and care about. I have seen many posts on here about the "what if" so don't think that I'm the first or only one. I was just saying that at the worst possible time, they had some very significant injuries to some of their more talented players. No doubt injuries happen to all teams, this case the injury bug just bit them at the worst time.

Pretty lame to think that after reading my post you think I was discounting anything about the accomplishments of these young men on all teams. No one was doing that. Physical conditioning can help avoid some injuries, but not all. You should ask a Dr. if you don't believe me. Otherwise I guess all injured players are just out of shape huh? Lame.

I've read posts from Hurricane fans saying IF Prince wasn't hurt that they would have won. Why didn't you attack them? Lame.

DHHS has had an amazing to win big games. (Except last year's championship) I was in the stands when they played the Tigers who had a huge lead at halftime. Everyone around me thought the game was over. I was skeptical because of what I had seen DH do in the last couple of years. They are scary good sometimes, and not so good at others. I think the DH and Spanish Fork game will be a great one. Utah HS football is really good, and DH will be there at the end, I think.

    @ d0wns0uth

Wasatch isn't playing...But still the same case with Bear River, they have to earn there points. IMO, this might be a fairly low scoring game, both games have great defenses, but I think it will be 10-28 DH. It will be a close 1st half, and then in the 2nd half is where DH will come with a vengeance. My opinion anyway

No disrespect for any team, I just know first hand the competition region 9 offers and it prepares any team for what is to come since they beat each other senseless week. My opinion is Wasatch better be ready to earn their points. No matter the outcome we dont need any more injuries for the young kids playing.

Be careful with the walk in the park. There are a lot of people who haved been mugged walking through the park just ask Dixie about there walk in the park with Snow Canyon.

IF, IF - Hurricane hadn't lost to DHHS, they would have won!! Then they would have killed Wasatch if Wasatch would have won. DHHS would have beat Stansbury if they had not lost! Dixie would have beat SC if their QB wasn't hurt! Hurricane would be undefeated if they wouldn't have lost their QB against DHHS! IF, IF, IF

What team isn't plagued with injuries this time of year. Even many injured players coming back for playoffs are not 100%. Pretty lame to discount what the teams that have got this far in the playoffs have done by laying out a bunch of IF's about your team. Maybe your team needs to get in better physical shape so your 5 studs can make it through the season! After all, it is a contact sport!

IF- the big IF. IF Wasatch would have had it's 2 (and then 3 after Franco was hurt in the 1st quarter) leading receivers, and 2 of its defensive starters weren't hobbled, this game would have been scored exactly the other way around. True, Wasatch didn't do a good job with their run game to set up the pass, however, it hasn't mattered this whole year (except against JD) and the offense has scored at will. BUT, that happens all the time and it's just unfortunate that it had to happen right before the playoffs. I'm not disrespecting BR, they are a hard nosed bunch and play hard. But if this game would have been before the injuries, Wasatch in a blowout. I think DH by at least 3 TD's
