11 posts from BYU "fans" and not a positive one in the bunch.
Those young men are busting their guts every week to do their best.
Wouldn't hurt to at least give them a little encouragement before you launch into Bronco and Riley.

Good thing basketball has begun! Riley has killed the 2012 football season....shame on you, Bronco!

I have tickets (season) for the final home game. It might be where Mr Grit finally puts together a complete game. But then I think about who they are playing. The start time, the miles I have to drive and who knows what the weather will be like. I will just have to enjoy this game in the comforts of my home. Then if Mr grit is still struggling against Idaho I can either suffer through it or turn it off. Thanks espn for this option. Can't wait for next season. Just glad Rose isn't as stubborn as Bronco.

I don't think he gets it. Byu fans want to see some excitement on offense where they can move up the field quickly. When they got the ball 2 min before the half they did not even try the two minute drill but ran the time out glad to be up by 7. That type of attitude is not what Byu Fans want to see. The grind it out 6-3 games suck to watch and is not BYU football.

"I wish that Lark would get a legitimate shot at QB..."

What good does it do to play Lark at this point? Riles and Lark are lameducks.

Hill will probably heal in time for next season, but I think BYU should begin seeing what Munns and Olsen can do in case Hill's recovery takes longer than expected. The schedule will begin softening up just in time to bring them in and see what they can do in a no pressure situation. Next year's schedule is considerably more difficult and if the Cougars are not 2-deep at QB we could experience something like the kids on the hill have if we're not careful.

Bronco... can you speak English? Speak to say what you mean and not Broncoisms and Broncode. Exactly how many interceptions, passes in the dirt, weak runs does Riley need to make before he starts his career in medical school? Love his zip, pep and verve, but my dog has all of those and wouldn't start him either until he stops throwing passes behind receivers so they bounce up and are intercepted, or misses the short guy and drops the ball between the short guy and further out guy... both who were open. I'm not even counting that terrible play with Hoffman open for a TD. So what are your standards for performance, Bronco?

The reason we had three close losses was because of our defense, not our offense. If we didn't have a spectacular defense, the losses would have been by double digits instead of three points.

I believe the offense is worse than any BYU offense in the 30 years I've been a Cougar fan - even worse than the Crowton era. There seems to be plently of talent of the offensive side - just no execution. It's time for change.

The 2 black days in BYU football have been when Gary Crowton was hired as the HC to replace Lavell Edwards and when Riley Nelson was offered a scholarship to come to BYU.

Both moves have set the BYU football program back years.

LOL, nothing catastrophic? We LOST! Yep as soon as we start playing the extremely weak part of the schedule we will certainly hit our stride. New QB please. I like Bronco in many ways but his continued stubborness regarding Riley is killing our team. Thank goodness basketball is starting.

"It caused US to miss a few throws. Nothing catastrophic happened, but WE probably missed out on a couple of opportunities. But, oh well...."

Who was out there with the ball in his hand? Who threw the ball in the dirt, making his mark in the ND stadium turf? The whole paragraph was peppered with "I" until the accountability hit, then it's "WE" and "US". I have never so looked forward to the leaving of a BYU QB as I am right now. Just wish his enablers would get the message and go with him and continue their love affair somewhere else.

"We're really close" means "We have the Georgia Tech game Saturday and after that I expect Riley to hit his stride."
