You have to admit. Every team in the top ten is better than BYU. You just lost to one of them last week.

Amen proud ute. They wanna throw Bronco under the bus, Riley under the bus like somewhere we really do have a top 5 team but its bronco and Riley's fault they can't show show it.

Like so many other bandwagon fans, I hope if we ever do break through that glass ceiling, all the crabs get left behind.

    Jeez..... I'm disappointed.
I was going to come on here and say something snide but all you cougar "fans" beat me to it.
With fans like you who needs trolls?
Good luck Coogs! I really, really, mean it.

Ok, so we might have a chance..but no, we have Riley, the turnover machine. He has Rudy's grit, too bad he doesn't play as much as Rudy did.

Riley will be the death of the coaching careers of bronco and doboy if they don't wake up from this nightmare.

#3 Oklahoma was 22 point favorites against the Cougars and we all know what happened, although the final should have been BYU 14 Ok 6. Prediction BYU 27 Notre Dame 19 of course I also thought we'd be 6-1 right now and if not for Bronco's pathetic leadership we would be, yeah I know should, could, woulda. Holmoe please relegate Bronco to defensive coach.

Its nice to say the usual chip on your shoulder, just another game blah blah rhetoric. But reality will prevail this week, ND will beat down the lowly Cougs in historic fashion. ND's Defense is better than OSU's so why is this going to be any different? The #8 team cleaned our clocks at home, why wouldn't the #5 team do the same on the road? At least they will leave the mighty "black out" jerseys at home. and I'm getting a little tired of Bronco's same old tripe. Why can't he get the same emotion or fire for his team like his man crush on Riley??

I don't mind BYU fans being optimistic and hopeful for this game. The reality is your defense is solid but faltered against the first talented passing team you faced. But at the same time your offense put up real numbers against a real defense.

Many BYU fans like to downplay other teams successes. Vis-a-vis "who has ND slaughtered?" I don't know when Y fans will learn to respect their opponents and give props were props are due. If you try to prove every team you play somehow sucks, and every team who beats you still somehow sucks, it all comes back on you.

Right now, Manti Teo is foaming at the mouth just thinking about the punishment he will inflict on Nelson.

Past time to give James Lark the opportunity to lead the team. The cougars have two NFL type receivers on their roster, and they are not being allowed to perform because of the awful offense that is being perpetrated on the field. Any future recruits must be taking note of the fact that this offense is a fraudulent simile of the past. Eldon Fortie was my hero while growing as a young fan. The program did not become nationally respected until Virgil Carter was the trigger man on the passing offense that we have all become to expect. We are experiencing a regression of this great tradition. Very sad, indeed. Lavell is still with us, I wonder what he thinks.

Cougs will be road kill. ND 49, BYU 0. No way BYU can score. ND is good enough to keep them out of the end zone if BYU gets anywhere near the red zone. Riley only survives game if he's removed in time. Bronco won't ever do that so Manti Te'o will do it for him. Te'o has been looking forward to this game for 4 years, and guess why? Not going to be pretty and our national following who for some unknown reason still watch this team will be shaken to the core.

Bronco wants to see how his program is doing against good teams. The stick he has to use is the one that comes from ND's wood shed, the OSU's wood shed. Nelson is a "shoot before you aim kinda guy". In other words he is all over the field with his quarterbacking. I know he is a team leader but with his inconsitant play and giving points to the other team is not acceptable to be a true leader. The defense will get tourched with the deep pass and special teams will not be playing at ND that day - no field goals made.

Bronco has to know his program is one step above WAC play with the personnel he has. A national championship for BYU will not be in Bronco's lifetime. ND 51 BYU 21. Nelson with two pick sixes. I hope I am wrong with this perdiction. I do want BYU to win, but the play of this team does not show they can win the big one. Bonehead mistakes come to mind.

If BYU will play four quarters like they did the first three against OSU, they have a good chance. If they play one quarter like they did the 4th quarter with OSU, they're dead. No one can fault Nelson for not trying. But really, is there a quarter back in the NCAA that throws more inaccurate passes and wounded ducks? It's not just attitude. It's attitude and ability that's needed at this level.

FACT: Notre Dame is overrated, should be 12 or 13.
FACT: Somebody is going to go into South Bend and blow the wheels off their wagon.
    FACT: It won't be BYU.

The only hype is can BYU not get their rear ends kicked on national TV. Maybe if they can be competitive with the Irish they may be able to gain some momentum going to Georgia Tech. They may miss being in a bowl game for the first time in years. They need to focus on the task at hand, they are the team that used to put fear in teams like ND just because they could score at will, now they put fear into their fans because they may lose respect in the sports world.

    @the Truth,

Notre Dame Slaughtered Miami 41-3, who are also 4-3 this year with a similar schedule. They beat up on Navy 50-10 and Michigan State 20-3 who is also 4-3, one of those wins coming at the expense of Boise State, who defeated BYU a few weeks ago.

Irish by 21, Final Score 24-3

Manti Te'o gets a game ball.

Well, last weekend we learned that there is some life to the offense and yes, some of the same problems of giving the ball away. We also learned that Bronco's defense is not quite up to "prime time" play. A back-up quarterback came in a did some major damage to the Cougars. The Oregon State defense stepped up and took the ball away from the Cougars when it counted. Now the Cougars og and play #5 in South Bend. I guess we can look forward to the Idaho game.

Hype? there's hype? ND is thinking about Oklahoma, BYU will have to do something they haven't done for a couple of years, play a flawless game with no turnovers and score a lot. There's no hype for this game.
