"It's probably a good thing the PAC12 didn't want you guys."

Bronco is 9-6 versus the PAC 12.
Kyle is 8-10 versus the PAC 12.

Unlike Kyle, Bronco wouldn't have lost at home to lowly Colorado with the PAC south title there for the taking.

    @ Brave Sir Robin

Your grading system is as questionable as your analysis. Which games have you been watching? Does a person honestly have to have his head buried in sand and deny reality to be considered a real Ute fan? It's people like you that make Cougar fans think Ute fans are idiots. Now I see why.
Have you forgotten how well the Arizona State game went just before this last game, when we lost a close one by only 30 points with over 300 yards less offense? USC had triple digit more yardage and even BYU had 70 more yards of offense. As I said before, stats don't lie. Try facing reality there in San Diego. It's not been a good year and schedule won't get much easier.
I honestly thought it was more fun to watch us beat CSU by 30 points than being on the other end of it against ASU by 30. If you'd honestly rather be beat up by a PAC12 team by 30 rather than beating a MWC team by the same, then as a realistic Ute fan, I'd give you a solid D-.

I give you a C- at pretending to be a Utah fan.

And if you think Utah got blown out "at best", it ought to make you shudder to consider what USC would have done to your Cougars. It's probably a good thing the PAC12 didn't want you guys.

It's starting to look like our Utes may soon be missing the good old days back in the Mountain West Conference when wins were a bit easier to come by. Sometimes it's better to be a big fish in a smaller pond than a little fish in a bigger pond... like now! Reality check: If BYU had a decent kicking game, we would be sitting on a 1-win season right now, with that one win coming against a division 2 school without a win in 2 years.
When in the MWC, there was never a question about qualifying for a bowl game... like there is right now. Not many gimme games left in the schedule.
As for this game, it wasn't as close as the score makes it seem. Had it not been for those 2 quick td's the defense was fortunate to get in the first 2 minutes game before some fans got seated, this would've been a 38-14 blowout at best. The statistics back that up, and they don't lie. Not even for the most die-harded of fans.

BJ isn't learning fast enough. I would give him a D. After having a half-time to adjust, the offense came out with a 3 and out. John White and York were effective in the downhill run game, but BJ didn't call their number enough. Last week there were too many run plays, this week too many pass plays. I hope he finds balance soon!

BJ's offense is coming along. One thing I loved about Chow last year, despite not being able to rack up a lot of yards, was the way he made creative run plays so they could give it to JW4 35 times a game against a stacked box, but the defense still wouldn't know how the run was coming. I started to see a little of that last night with BJ.

This is a decent assessment, but the author needs to learn the difference between "yards per completion" and "yards per attempt."

Hays was 19-of-32 for 160 yards

    160 yards / 32 attempts = 5 yards per attempt
    160 yards / 19 completions = 8.4 yards per completion

If Utah doesn't bounce back soon, a bowl game could quickly slip out of their reach. ESPN sure seems to think that they will be sitting this one home, because Utah has been off of their bowl projections for weeks now!

It wasn't as bad as the reporter makes it out to be, the offense was at least a B to B- sure they stalled in the second half but the problem was not passing too much it was running too much in the second half. two run plays for a total of 5 yards then a difficult 3rd down conversion was pretty much the story for the offense in the second half. they should not have gone away from the first half formula which was to do quick slants and alot of play action passes to open the field up.
Defense defiantly deservesa B or B+ anytime you can force 2 turnovers on USC is a good day Barkley Lee and Woods are going to make their plays but even still Utah kept themselves in it till the last 8 minuets.
