Maybe we should shift gears to basketball. Remember when the USU students embarrassed the entire state with their racial, crude, expletive statements and signs towards Brandon Davies? The signage was so inappropriate the TV crew could hardly provide fan shots. I think Stew was mortified! The worst part of this is I have to sit through another game in Provo with these fans tonight. The USU students were so bad the university had to send a formal apology letter to BYU. It was all over the news. How embarrassing. This is when my respect for USU began to dissipate.

USU is a good university, but suffers from insecurity like so many other good schools in Utah. That’s the bottom line. I’m waiting for your intelligent witty and sharp response. And Chris B U can join in also.

Besides the fact I obviously can’t read and talk at the same time, what else would you like to argue about?
How about the 2 for 1 series USU has with BYU after this contract expires. You said Gary Anderson would never do that again – was that you putting words in Gary’s mouth?
What about the fact that you and several other thousands in Logan have only been football fans for two years? Do you remember when USU was giving away tickets for home games and the seats were still empty?
Do you want to discuss the history of USU football? Or the lack thereof? Gary Anderson has made miracles happen in Logan. But what’s keeping him there? Nothing. It’s cliché I know, but when he leaves you’ll go back to empty stadiums at home games.

I already graduated from college 3 times. Your arguments are still weak.

I want to debate your reading skills. At no point did I say an Aggie scored 7 TD's against Hawaii last year. You need to pay attention to what people write and only post if you know what was said. I sure hope you pay attention better in school or you will never make it to the next grade. I will be waiting for the long list of excuses.....

OK. I hate to be Captain Obvious here: so the Cougs coaching staff is "encouraged about their ground attack." Well, they better be because the passing attack is on life-support. Also, against what level of defense has our Cougs run up against? Now if they keep this level of attack over the next 4 weeks, I will be very impressed. I love the spin job Doman provides. The sad part is the amount of Cougs fans that buy into it. I love my Cougs, but have great concern with the level of play on offense this season.

I've seen the 17 year old RB several times in practice, scrimmages, and games. You've only seen him in one game. If he doesn't succeed tonight against a team you only cheer for when they're winning it will be because of the O'line letting him down.

What else do you want to debate? How about the fact USU has another 2 for 1 scheduled after this one?

You're hilarious. Your argument was the cougars do not share my confidence regarding the game tonight. Where do you come up with comments like this? Once again you're putting words in my mouth. I responded to your comment that BYU football is way more confident than I am.

Then you say I cannot state an freshman RB is good because his only "full" game came against a bad Hawaii team. Then you have the ignorance to say your RB is a star because he scored 7 TDs against a worse Hawaii team last year.

On another comment board you told me the past doesn't mean anything and should therefore be banned from these conversatations.

You only beat Hawaii by 4 points last year! BYU killed em. Once again what is your point other than you hate BYU and only banter on the comment boards because its a fun little hobby for you. Do you remember your post about that? You probably forgot because your still basking in the light of the miracle win over Utah.

    BYU would have beat Consin.

I have seen the 17 year old play and he did great against a pathetic defense. Nevada's RB had SEVEN touchdowns in the first half against Hawaii so if you think he will run wild tonight then you have no concept of football. And there is no argument because an argument has two valid sides and you have nothing to base your point on other than Hawaii. I will take my chances sticking with the Aggies and you can sink with the coogs.

Should be a great game tonight. USU is the new Boise State and on track to start winning the big national games. They will warm up on BYU. There is no lack of confidence on their side.

I was waiting for your banter Sports Nutz. I get the feeling you haven't seen this 17 year old kid play much.
Your argument is weak. The cougars are way more confident they'll win than I am. I can easily see the cougars coming out flat and losing. I can admit that about the cougs, but your arrogance or ignorance won't allow you to admit the Aggs will likely lose tonight. Bring it on...

Just because fans on a board are confident and cocky doesn't mean the team is. The Aggies will be ready tonight and if they play their game, they will win.

Sorry, but as a big BYU Rugby fan, I'd like to see the characterization of Paul Lasike as a "former" rugby player corrected. Paul is still an important member of the BYU rugby team. He can be usefully thought of as a two-sport athlete. Since he now has a football scholarship, it's become his first priority, but his rugby is still important to him and the national champion BYU Rugby team. The 15s rugby season is in the spring, so there is a 3-week window where he does football spring practice. Otherwise, Paul is a key member of BYU Rugby's plans to win the first rugby "Varsity Cup" being contested this year by the top college rugby teams, including powerhouse Cal, Utah, Navy, Air Force and others.
    Just my two cents.

Great job by Stephenson, he's been awesome this season. Combining him with our D is really a one-two punch. Now if the O can keep it together tonight it should be a Cougar win.

I can't wait to see how Williams runs against an over-confident Aggie defense. I hope he's consistent.

How about a fake punt on 1st and 10 from the BYU 20-yard line? That will shake things up a bit.

I think it would be great if James Lark got the start tomorrow. And then a quick switch to Taysom Hill in package. Then Lark. USU is coming hoping to defend the run, but a good pass could do wonders I feel. Just throw the daylights out of them. If Doman is really daring, he might even try a trick play. They have a former QB in WR Alex Karesa, why not use the dude? He obviously was at least good enough that BYU signed him at QB originally. I don't think it matters who is taking snaps out there, it matters a lot more who is calling the plays. I just hope Doman doesn't get into that rut of trying the option again, and again, and again, and again until the game ends.
