I know Mia Love will win despite the negative and scare mongering tactics the opposition is employing because Utahns will easily see through the over top and exaggerated attacks to the truth

Yep, Democrats are all evil and Republicans are all saints. Must be nice to have such clear cut judgment on this issue. Must be nice to know everything about everybody...isn't that omniscience? The next thing coming is omnipotence.

"And, maybe they are thinking that if they can get Matheson and Obama back they can continue to ruin America at will."

Yeah, firstamendment, that's what they are thinking.

Jim is known as a "blue dog" democrat. That's probably not as bad as being an "east cosst" democrat, but when the chips were down, you noticed that the blue dogs all lined up to bless us with Nancy Pelosi. Jime will do it again if he is reelected. That's enough to keep him from returning to Washington.

"Corporations are people too"- Mitt Romney

Isn't it great that all this corporate cash & outside of Utah dollars trying to influence a local election? Time for campaign contribution limits. The average voter has no voice & the average politician is more beholden to his/her donors than to their constituents.

Liberals are "checkmated" by Mia Love. Being Black, female, Republican, and Mormon, she is one example of a minority group member that does not elicit guilt feelings from the liberal community.

I am very disappointed with Jim Matheson's ads. He uses his mother to make the pitch that her son is really not a democrat.

For me, Mia Love is the best thing that has happened to Utah in many years. I wish her the best and look forward to her representing Utah in congress.

Next the Democrats will accuse Mia Love of being a racist.

    Good luck with that...

Of course it is important for Dems. to stop Mia for many reasons. And, maybe they are thinking that if they can get Matheson and Obama back they can continue to ruin America at will.

Any evidence that Jim Matheson is active LDS? I've heard nothing to that effect. Was Judas Iscariot "annointed"?

In the mail, I've received loads of anti-Mia Love, pro-Matheson ads. All show an unflattering, black-and-white photo of her. I met her downtown in SLC a couple of days ago, and she's a very attractive and appealing woman. The anti-Love ads hurt Matheson by showing Love is her least-appealing photograph. More evidence that Matheson and his donkey PACS are just out for cheap-shots.

As covenant members of the The Church of Jesus Christ, Mia and Jim should immediately condem this breaching of their covenants to not " speak evil of the Lord's Anointed.". If each of them has been endowed, each has been anointed. Each should be embarrassed that each's desire for political office has led each to be a covenant breaker. We should all be embarrassed that we allow this to occur by voting for these people. The end does not justify the means. Come on brothers and sisters, we have been commanded to "love one another" with no exceptions. We can and should do much better.

Politics always seem to end up being about the money. "Gold is King" really means he who has the most gold becomes the king. We need to diminish the influence of $ in politics. It is unfortunate that many times the candidate that best represents the majority of citizens does not win simply because he/she was out spent by the opponent.

Jim Matheson needs to go. Period. I believe in term limits and if there is anything more suspicious in a politician it is the wanting to be re-elected! Just look at the irresponsibility in Washington and tell me with a straight face that all those incumbents have just been doing what's best for the country, or as in the Jim Matheson mantra, "Utahns want a balanced approach to dealing with our problems!" Jim Matheson doesn't even know a problem exists. If he did, he would be screaming, irregardless of party, that the house is on fire and needs help. He just loves his position, and has the time to 'do good' for the citizens of the state of Utah. No thanks, Jim, we have enough of the do gooders. I want workers! Mia Love may be no different, but at least she hasn't been enfolded in the power and money that has corrupted the system (yet!). Jim Matheson needs to go!

I will NOT be watching any network until November 7th that plays the ads! I guarantee it! First ad of the day and the channel is switched off for the rest of the night!
