So,My2Cents, you don't know why racial minorities think Republicans are racist? Well, you don't like languages other than English and you don't want guest workers. You may support "legal immigration," but I suspect you have no interest in stream-lining the legal process or increasing legal quotas.

"This county and its laws have never been racist...." So you oppose all affirmative action? What about equal opportunity?"

This racist insinuation bunk has got to stop. It's like the boy who cried wolf. When the words "angry", "Chicago", and "golf" are interpreted as "racist code words", then when real racism comes along no one is going to believe it. The sad fact is that the Democratic party is much more likely to pander to groups on government assistance, which unfortunately large numbers of minority are, than the Republicans. Democrats promise to continue the handouts ad infinitum, or even worse, to increase the numbers of handouts to various groups. This is sad and dangerous, but it keeps minority groups in a large measure in the fold of the Democrats. Conversely, the Republicans believe in helping people out of poverty through getting them better jobs. We've seen the Democrats plan in action for decades and there are more people in poverty than ever before. Handouts do not work in alleviating poverty.

Most political parties are taking this country in the wrong direction and scandalizing this nations past and future by putting in to political power racist, biased, and conflict of interest people who may or may not be citizens like in Utah.

These policies are turning our country and governance in to racist laws and racist control by special interest groups who can't keep persoanal prejudices out of their prejudiced life sytyles.

Race and social status should not be terms of position, elections, or appointment to government or private jobs. This county and its laws have never been racist but this total minority thing is pure bunk and destructive. The only requirement for political or private positions and jobs is citizenship, english, and no personal conflicts(including racial).

The survey is clearly biased when it asks "Do you favor a smaller government with fewer services or a larger government with more services?" You could ask the same question this way "Do you favor small government and fewer taxes or a larger government with more taxes?" and get a completely different result.

The Republican Party is the party of Lincoln and the party that pushed through civil rights reform. The Democrats are the party that destroyed the black family. The Republicans aren't giving up the black vote or the Latino vote. It might take 50 years, it should take less, but soon those groups will stop looking at elections as good guys versus bad guys and as big government versus small government and free market versus socialism, and when those groups vote based on policy rather than on unfounded fears then the vote will swing in favor of the Republicans as long as the GOP doesn't give up its principles.

It is amazing what passes for "journalism" these days.

Instead of pointing out that the sources cited in the first two paragraphs are rabidly liberal partisans, this piece obligingly accepts their assertions as fact and perpetuates them.

Not a single attempt to get an opposing view, nor to check the assertions.

There is a more accurate word for stuff like this.

It used to be that newspapers got paid for running campaign materials, but now they seem to do it for free. For liberals.
