Just found out that the game is blacked out on ESPN3 ... nationwide. Actually, maybe that works out to "worldwide." That really stinks. At least KSL Radio will broadcast, and BYUtv will have the replay.

I'm as anxious for the game tomorrow as a kid on Christmas eve. It's been a long wait since the Armed Force Bowl. I think BYU is going to surprise a lot of people. In fact, I wouldn't be surprised if they show up in the Top 25 next week after the big win.

A week ago, I was thinking it would be a closer game, but now I think BYU will run away with it. Final Score: BYU 42, WSU 17.

    Dallas realist,

Cosmo's unemployed living with mom cousin is a ute who thinks she is the first one to pretend to be from the other side. I remember when posting was first introduced many years ago and many did this. Most people grew out if that phase. She hasnt yet. Typical ute in so many ways.

    @ Cosmo's Cousin

I cant tell if you are being sarcastic or if you really think that. If you are being serious please stop with the fantasy. we are not winning a National championship this season, not even close.

Good analysis, well written and conceived. It's about as good a prediction as an intelligent person can make. Now we get to see how well the Cougars perform.

This could be the year the Blue runs the table and reclaims the National Championship. Mark it down! I haven't had this feeling since the early 1980s.

The Blue has one of the best coaches in the nation and a veteran QB who's a proven leader. It is our year.

The Blue will be the king again and little brother Ute WILL pay his respect.

It should be interesting to see that 2-4-5 nickel. Challenge them to run the ball and see what they do. I know that it has been reported that the DB's are better than usual, but you will need to get some pressure on the QB because he is more than equipped to find an open receiver if he gets time. Wilson is no joke, and a 6 inch advantage is a pretty big deal.

Overall, I think BYU will have success with the play action and rolling out with Nelson. I think Gurney is overestimating BYU's ability to cover the Air Raid though.
My prediction is that it will be a close fought BYU win.

    Chris B

You must just sit at home on the computer and wait for a BYU article to pop up, or working and in that case I feel really bad for your boss.

    WSU 34
    byu 21

    utah 55

    utah 31
    byu 10

    mark it down.

I'll hurry home from the game to watch WSU take care of byu, essentially ending your season 3 hours after it started.

If I'm BYU in this game, I am running the football all day until WSU makes me throw it. They are running a new scheme on defense with new players up front, who reportedly have a lot of question marks. BYU is big and strong up front and should be much more physical at the line of scrimmage. I think BYU has a chance to make this like the Oregon State game last year in Corvallis when BYU rushed for nearly 300 yards. Running the ball does a few things. First, it keeps Riley Nelson from throwing an interception. We shouldn't put the ball in the air if we don't need to. Secondly, it keeps the "Air Raid" offense of WSU off the field. The more time of possession BYU has the less of a threat the Air Raid will be. Third, if we run and they can't stop it, it's the safest, easiest way to score points. Handing the ball off is always easier than trying to complete a pass.

That's just my 2 cents. Game will be tough but I think BYU wins.

    BYU 28, WSU 21

    Go BYU Cougs!
