Despite earlier rejection, Senate approves Su Chon as judge

    I'm glad the full senate voted to confirm Su Chon. The Judiciary Committee made the wrong decision and it was corrected.

    Congratulations to both Su Chon and to the full senate for doing the right thing. There are simply too many other examples of wonderful sitting and retired judges that had no real trial experience (before their confirmations) to support the Committee's recommendation.

    I wish the new justice well in her service. It should be noted that nominee James Blanch who was also confirmed today had been through the process 4 times. Any thoughts of discrimination or other such bias appear to be baseless.
