Don't worry. If we cut PE altogether and fill it with liberal art classes, our children can paint and draw themselves a future and fight obesity sitting down.

Then head off to their government (funded by taxpayers) "free" lunch, to down not carrots or a salad because those aren't deemed vegetables; but wait for it....FRENCH FRIES (Michelle obamas favorite vegetable), and a big ole slice of pizza that meeting the all knowing and omnipotent school board and government wisdom of what is healthy to eat.

Soda machines aren't the problem, that's just another way for demos to tax you. The problem is the junk they feed our kids and then tell them not to exercise and not allow them to exercise to shove more liberal ideology down their throats and make them more dependent democrat voters.

The nation is going down the toilet. Killing off the goose that lays the golden egg, is not going to solve your problems. Getting off of your butt and creating your business and working hard will. Don't tell me about some diesease and it's too hard. Think ABILITY.

What a terrible title for the article. The study did not show that PE classes have no effect on obesity, it showed that soft guidelines that are unclear and largely not followed are not good enough to ensure the proper level of activity to combat obesity. The title would lead you to believe PE is useless and should be abandoned, the article suggests that it is valuable and is worth more dedication.
