    People never understand gospel talking at first, they should not hear about it until trust and friendship have found their place.

    After that is done, he needs to let them do the talkings and then correct them on whatever might be appropriate. So don't teach them, let him learn to listen more.

    If you cannot get straight on church doctrines, let him focus on the needs of people rather than teaching gospel knowledge. Helping people is a better teaching tool, than words can do.

    If that won't help, go with him helping people and feed him while he wants to talk.
