It's because all the 18-30 year olds are gun shy for the contempt that politicians had for not telling the truth and lying to the public. This group is hard to put in to statistics because they have no basis or getting their information and their living and lifestyle, they are off the grid and this frustrates poll takers and politicians.

Most seasoned voters in 2008 could see through the lies and deceptions of Obama rhetoric and voted against him, but the less informed idealistic young people put too much trust in believing lies of candidates and the news media censorship of the truth. They have learned to study their quarry with learned investigative research knowledge in higher eduction.

This time around the rude awakening of 2008 and deceptions by politicians has sunk in and are being a little more careful about how they vote. When the time comes their vote will more than likely be cast but with a lot more caution. Its a good thing that this age group is off the grid, Not knowing our minds and what buttons to push is frustrating for them and is our salvation.
